About Dan.

A Lifelong Passion for Property

I’m Dan South, founder of Danhaus London, an independent property search and sales service built on a genuine love of homes and the people who live in them. My passion for property began early - growing up in small-town Australia, I’d spend every Sunday reading the Homes section of the newspaper, fascinated by how spaces in cities could be shaped and lived in. Over time, that curiosity became hands-on experience buying, renovating, and selling properties, and a lasting interest in what makes a great home.

What is really important to me, is that I work directly with every client.

Originally from Australia, I’ve lived in North London for over two decades and have a strong understanding of the local property market and communities. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I believe property advice should be inclusive, respectful and tailored, because every client is unique and every relationship, family or background is different.

Before founding Danhaus London, I built a career of experience in project management, communications, stakeholder negotiation and people management in large matrixed organisations - experience that now shapes the way I guide property transactions and clients throughout the selling and buying process.

I’ve also bought and sold properties in both London and Australia, and personally invest in residential building projects in the UK. This experience provides a practical perspective on the challenges and opportunities involved in property transactions, especially in England.

Professionalism and knowledge are paramount to me. I hold the Level 3 Certificate in Property Agency (Sales) and am a Member of NAEA Propertymark (MNAEA). Danhaus London is also registered with Propertymark and is audited annually by this body, reflecting a commitment to recognised professional standards, ethics and expectations within the industry.
